About the PTA
Every parent is automatically a member of our Parents and Teachers Association. The PTA supports the school by fundraising and organising social events. It provides an opportunity to meet other parents who want to give some of their time to helping their child's school. Current PTA Fundraising Initiatives The Big Bang Science Fair This is a free, government funded family day out where you can have fun with 'hands on science'. This event is aimed at 8 to 17 year olds and has proven to be a big hit with families who have attended in previous years. This year, the event will be held at The Excel Centre in London. This is not a fundraising activity - the PTA is running this as both a social event and an educational activity for the whole family to enjoy together. This year, the family days are on 16 & 17 March 2013 and, if there is enough demand, the PTA will organise a coach for £7.50 per adult (kids go free) on Saturday 16th March.
