The Monster Fun Club provides a safe and enjoyable environment for children between the ages of 5-11 years and is located at Polehampton Junior School, Twyford.
Our aim is to provide good quality, affordable childcare in a safe, happy and caring environment.
The After School Club is open from 3.30 - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in term time for children from Polehampton Junior School and Polehampton Infant School.
The club is run by a committee of volunteers from both schools. It has been inspected by Ofsted and their report was very positive (copies are available on request).
Supervision is provided by qualified staff on a maximum ratio of 1:8, with a minimum of two members of staff on duty. They oversee a range of activities from which the children can choose including:
- Craft
- Games
- Outside play
- Playstation 2
- Television
- Cooking
- A quiet room
A snack and drinks are always provided, and the children make their own sandwiches from a range of fillings that are available. The snack food includes:
- Sandwiches or crackers
- Fruit
- Crisps
- Drink
Once children are registered, places can be booked on a regular or casual basis (subject to availability and with a minimum of 24 hours notice). Please contact us for current fees. Fees are payable half-termly in advance for regular sessions and casual bookings are payable in advance or on the day of the session. We accept Childcare Vouchers.
